Reading Bridal District Membership Information & Benefits
The Reading Bridal District serves the specific needs of the bridal businesses in Reading through its own events, web site (www.readingbridaldistrict.com), and advertising. The RBD is affiliated with the Reading Chamber of Commerce. Membership in the Reading Bridal District, at the full “Wedding Level” membership, automatically includes membership in the Reading Chamber of Commerce.
A business that sells wedding-oriented products and services, or services shoppers while in the District may be eligible to join the Reading Bridal District (RBD). The Reading Bridal District is defined as a geographical area encompassing Reading, OH and an area up to 3 miles from the Reading borders.
Businesses outside the District may also join, but will be referred to as “associate” members. Associate members are not eligible for the Engagement Level membership. If your business is affiliated with another geographically-based bridal association, your business may not be an RBD member.
Wedding Level Membership Benefits ($375 annual)
(businesses located outside the district – $675)
This Package includes all the benefits of the Reading Chamber of Commerce membership.
Profile & Hyperlink– RBD website and Reading Chamber of Commerce website
Your business will be featured on the RBD web site. Included will be a profile of your business that may include a picture, 200 words of text, operating hours, full contact information, and a hyperlink to your own web site.
Press Releases—RBD Web Site
A page on our web site is to be reserved for “news from our members”. Your business may submit 4 press releases per year announcing store news, store specials, sidewalk sales, etc. Each press release may contain a picture, 100 words of text, contact information, and a hyperlink to your own web site.
Location Marker on RBD Map
All members will be shown on the RBD Map which will be featured in the public parking lots, the RBD web site, and the RBD Handout.
RBD Mailings
Periodically, the RBD will try to do mailings to prospects generated by RBD advertising and events.
The mailing piece will be the “RBD Handout”.
First Opportunity to Sponsor Events
All members will have the first opportunity to sponsor and donate to events hosted and coordinated by the RBD.
Networking Opportunities – By working together, the members of the RBD can ensure that our area remains a prominent destination for wedding shoppers. Throughout the year, the RBD will try to sponsor meetings and events which will also be attended by representatives of the City of Reading and the Chamber.
All members will be shown on the RBD street signs map which will be featured in the public parking lots, and on any RBD Handouts.
